Attached please find a notification letter regarding the decision of the Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning (DEA&DP), dated 16 October 2026, to grant the amendment of the Environmental Authorisation

for Glen Village Country Estate (formerly Glen Haven Country Estate) on Portion 52 of the Farm Kraaibosch 195, George (Original EA Ref: 16/3/1/1/D2/19/-0025/12).

A copy of the decision and of the original Environmental Authorisation is also attached.

The letter sets out the outcome of the application, the reasons for the decision, the details of the holder, and the appeal procedure. Any appeal must be submitted by no later than Wednesday, 18 November 2026.

The National Appeal Regulations published under Government Notice R5985 in Government Gazette No. 52269 dated 13 March 2025 is attached to this email, which prescribes the appeal procedure to be followed.
