The Applicant (Kobus Smit) has proposed development on Portion 59 of Farm 216 (Referred to as the property throughout the report. The property has been investigated by a team of specialists (Terrestrial, Plant, Faunal, and Aquatic) in correlation with the Environmental Assessment Practitioner.

A residential house is in place on Erf 631 located at 9 Shore Road, Sea Vista, St Francis Bay within ward 12 of the Kouga Local Municipality, Eastern Cape. Erf 631 is approximately 1549.9 m2 in extent and falls within the Kromme Estuarine Functional Zone. An existing house is in place on the Erf with a total existing floor area of 386m2; the owner is proposing to expand the development footprint on the Erf by approximately 267m2 (new garage, braai rooms, dwelling additions and balconies).

A residential house is in place on Erf 1220 located at 63 Esmaralda Road, St Francis Bay. Erf 1220 is approximately 1192 m2 in extent and falls within 100 meters of the high-water mark of the sea. The footprint of the existing infrastructure on the property is approximately 400m2; the owner is proposing to expand the development footprint on the Erf by approximately 100m2.

Project Proposal: Proposed development of Glenvillage Country Estate, formally known as Glen Haven Country Estate, on a Portion 52 of the Farm Kraaibosch 195, George, Western Cape in terms of the EA (16/3/1/1/D2/19-0025/12) and EMPr (GEO162/21).

A residential development consisting of a maximum of 274 residential units comprising one, two and three- bedroom apartments is proposed on Erf 7614, located in Knysna Local Municipality between Rio Street in the North, Sanel and League Street in the West, and Concordia Road in the South. The erf is approximately 5.96 ha in extent; approximate central coordinates: 34° 1'42.56"S; 23° 2'56.02"E.

Five properties were initially identified by the Bitou Municipality for the proposed development of a regional cemetery. After several specialist studies were conducted on each property, Portion 33 of the farm 437 Hillview was identified as the most viable option. Portion 33 of the farm Hillview 437 is located to the north of the Kwanokuthula suburb and west of Plettenberg Bay town. The site can be located at GPS coordinates 34° 2'28.31"S and 23°19'48.95"E.

Rectification of Unlawful Commencement of the enlargement of a dam on Portion 42 of Farm 46 Buffelsrivier and the construction of a new dam on Portion 34 of Farm 46 Buffelsrivier, George Municipality, Western Cape.

Project Proposal: Development of a primary dwelling and associated infrastructure. Where the property is approximately 25 093 m2, and 3 924 m2 will be disturbed. Amounting to a percentage of 16 % total disturbance.

Location: Erf 2924 Knysna, falls under jurisdiction of the Knysna Municipality of the Western Cape. The GPS coordinates to the property is 34° 02΄05.64˝S / 23° 00΄47.44˝E

Project Proposal: The development of a 3-bedroom single residential dwelling with garage, access driveway, six (6) small guest units called “Pods”, and guest parking. The total development footprint is 1638m2 with a total coverage of 4.16%. Pods will each comprise a single bedroom, along with supplementary living amenities and adjoining bathroom.

A medium to high density residential development (estimated 230 units) is proposed to be developed on Erf 2074, located on Marine Drive in Plettenberg Bay, Bitou Local Municipality in the Western Cape Province. The erf is approximately 6 ha in extent; approximate central coordinates: 34° 3'16.00"S; 23°21'37.65"E.
